University research schools

University research schools (écoles universitaires de recherche, EUR), based on the internationally recognized Graduate Schools model, join together higher education institutions and research organizations. The EURs have a strong international dimension and maintain close links with economic actors.

The EURs bring together Master's degree programs from the Science and Engineering Faculty of the University of Toulouse and doctoral programs as well as several very high-level, internationally recognized research laboratories.

The 5 projects validated by the French National Research Agency (Agence Nationale de la Recherche ANR) offer opportunities for the continuum of master's degree, doctorate and professional integration to the best foreign students and to the excellent students of the Toulouse site.

The Toulouse EURs are based on themes in which the Toulouse site has very strong, internationally recognized expertise: biotechnology, cancer and health, emerging infectious diseases, science of the universe, environment and biology, mathematics, and science and engineering.
